What is the serial number of your Rolleiflex? As someone else said, these cameras are among the best made. They take super pictures and most have collector value as well. Many are increasing in value. I would try it out before selling it. The most usual problem is a sticky shutter at slow speeds, which requires new oil. Im not sure about your question re the GX, so it does seem that serial numbers got out of wack around the time HOneywell was involved, I believe that relationship ended in 1970 when the Rolleiwerke Company was formed, and the new camera was the whiteface of 1970-71 on through 76, and then stops the 3.5 only to be picked up again in 79 for a.
